Terms and Conditions:
By staying with us at the Eight Bar B Motel (8-Bar-B Motel LLC) you agree to the following terms, conditions, and fees.
CANCELLATION
Cancellations may be made until 24 hours prior to your check-in. A cancellation fee of the first night’s rent plus tax will be collected after this cutoff. More notice may be needed for holidays, events, or other busy dates. No shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation plus tax. Call the front desk if you have questions. A credit card will be required at the time of reservation in case of late cancellation.
CHECK-IN
Check in is 3:00pm to 11:00pm. If you cannot make it during these times, please call the front desk for further information, or to make special arrangements.
CHECK-OUT
You may check out at your leisure until 11:00 am. Keys may be left in your room or in the drop box outside the office door. Please contact the front desk if you need special accommodations during check-out.
LOST KEYS
Lost or otherwise not returned keys will result in a $15 charge PER KEY to your card on file. Keys may be left in the room upon checkout or deposited in the drop box outside the office door. Refunds may be possible with the prompt return of the lost key.
ALL OF OUR ROOMS ARE NON-SMOKING
Please note that all of our rooms are non-smoking. According to Washington State Law RCW 70.160, smoking is prohibited in public spaces and within 25 feet of building entrances and windows. There will be a charge of $250 for smoking in rooms, no exceptions. We have provided a smoking pavilion for our guests who need to smoke and encourage the use of it. Please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground anywhere on our property. Receptacles have been provided at designated smoking areas.
PET POLICY
ALL pets must be declared to the manager on duty. A $10 per room cleaning fee will be charged. This covers the whole stay. If a guest checks out but comes back after the room has been fully cleaned, the fee will be charged again. If we receive complaints against noisy or aggressive pets your stay will be terminated without refund. Undeclared pets will result in a $100-250 fee charged to your card. ($100 for a pet friendly room, $250 for a pet-free room). The guest assumes all responsibility for cleaning up after the pet and any excessive damages that their pet incurs, up to $250. We charge a $50 Carpet Cleaning Fee for EVERY suspected instance of urine. Please do not leave pets unattended in your motel room at ANY time.
We would like to note that we love animals, and we understand that accidents happen. Please communicate any accident(s) to the office managers immediately. If we are informed in a timely manner, we may be able to exercise flexibility to avoid complications or minimize charges.
PERSONAL PROPERTY
This property is privately owned and management will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests, pets, or vehicles, or for the loss of money, jewelry, vehicles, or valuables of any kind. Items left in rooms after your stay will be held in the office for 30 days, and it is the guest’s responsibility to contact management regarding your items and arrange for them to be retrieved. We do not ship items.
ROOM CONDITION
Excessive mess that incurs unreasonable cleaning time for our staff will be charged to the card on file. Fees will correlate with the amount of time it takes to restore the room to its normal condition. The guest will be held responsible for any lost income that occurs due to excessive mess or damages.
For our Suite: Please wash your dishes. A dish cleaning fee of up to $30 may apply.
DAMAGES TO MOTEL PROPERTY
Damage to motel property should be reported immediately. We reserve the right to charge guests or the person(s) who made the reservation, the cost of damages caused by the negligent, reckless or intentional act of the guest to the motel’s structure or property. Should we find out about the damage after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to charge the cost of the damage to the guest’s debit / credit card.
REMOVAL OF MOTEL PROPERTY
We reserve the right to charge guests or the person(s) who made the reservation the cost of replacing and items that are removed from the property by them without consent of the owner. The charge will be the full cost of the missing item, including any carrier charges. Should we find out about the missing item(s) after the guest has checked out, we reserve the right to charge the cost of the item(s) to the guests or the person(s) who made the reservation debit/credit card.
DISTURBING THE PEACE
We strive to provide a peaceful, quiet stay to all of our guests. Quiet time is 10pm to 7am. We reserve the right to terminate guests’ stay without notice or refund due to issues of noncompliance with this rule. Vulgarity or abuse of any kind is not tolerated on Eight Bar B Motel property and is grounds for dismissal without refund. If necessary, police will be called to escort unruly guests from the property.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE.
